Atlantis Ancol is a thematic water recreation park inspired by the ancient civilizations and cities in the Mediterranean that disappeared due to volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
Atlantis Ancol, formerly known as Gelanggang Renang Ancol, was officially opened to the public on June 28, 1974. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Lieutenant General Marinir Ali Sadikin. Atlantis Ancol Area covers of 7 hectares.
At Atlantis Ancol, visitors are invited to embark on an adventure into the lost world by navigating through nine types of pools and a variety of exciting and challenging attractions.
